Très élégante boite à thé en laiton fin, finement décorée et travaillée à la main. La boîte repose sur une base plate à 3 pieds voûtés, un corps cylindrique richement décoré en carrés avec motifs géométriques et stylisés en gravure. Le couvercle est plat avec un bouton à 3 tiges courbées à la main.
Le couvercle présente aussi un fin travail de martelage. Hauteur avec le couvercle : 11 cm environ.
Diamètre à la base (avec les pieds) : 7 cm environ. Diamètre au col : 5 cm. Monogramme d'artiste gravé sous la base. The prominent collector Giorgio Silzer , born in 1920 in Upper Slesia and died in 2014 at the age of 94, was the solo violin at the Berlin Deutsche Opera House. In addition to his violinist career, he pursued his personal passion: the collection of Art Nouveau and Art Deco objects.The Collection Silzer is one of the leading private collections in Germany and in Europe. Since the mid-1970s, Giorgio Silzer made part of his vast collections available to the public and helped to make Art Nouveau and Art Deco known in a more widespread and recognized way.
